Our simple celebration of Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day celebration was two weeks ago but I forgot to share how my daughter and I celebrated the day. Well, it’s not really a blast celebration but still I wanted to share it hahah! My daughter and I started the day by attending morning mass in the mall. Since we are already in the mall we do our window shopping right after the mass. When we got tired we took our lunch, my daughter wanted to eat at Jollibee so we feasted there.
I saw this Mother’s Day decoration in the mall; as a proud mom I wanted to have a souvenir photo sadly no one will take the photo for me. Well, that is one of the disadvantages of lacking member in the family (talking about my daughter’s father). Anyway, this is not his moment so I will not focus on that matter. To make the story short I don’t want to give or entrust the camera to unknown people so I just asked my daughter to make pose in mother’s day decoration.
At home we continued our celebration and ate this petite cake that we bought for Php50. The size is good for the two of us who are small eater.
My daughter gave this chocolate cake to her grandmother (my mother) while greeting Happy Mother’s Day. Sorry forgot to take photo i only remember when the cake is almost half. This chocolate cake is cost Php50 good for one person but it can be shared if you are small eater and doesn’t love sweet much.
That’s it, simple celebration but happy. Thank God for giving me a chance to be a mother. Being a mom is a blessing though I wasn’t blessed with a good partner but still happy because I have my daughter with me. I just pray that God will continue to bless us abundantly.

Whenever, whatever, wherever, whichever as long as you’ve celebrated Mother’s Day is more than enough than to do it lavishly and ostensibly when there’s no meaning at all. A mass, a window shopping, a small piece of cake, a posterity picture taking, a smile are the main ingredients of what a mother should be proud of.
